About the Artist
Drawing has always been a part of life for Jessica Rose and as a child she declared, “Someday, I will be an artist”. Her first sketchbooks were filled with horses, like most girls they were a favorite subject. A self-taught artist, Jessica is inspired by everyday moments. Her days are spent as a stay at home mother, squeezing in time to create; she has found drawing to be very therapeutic.
Jessica began selling her artwork as a hobby online back in 2007, she never anticipate how well others would respond to her art. Within that first year it was clear the hobby had turned into a business, and VOL.25 was born.
Living in a cabin on the river, located in the Methow Valley in Washington, is now home for Jessica, her husband and daughters. Jessica considers it a blessing to do what she loves, while still staying at home with her daughters.
